Projecthrive is proud to announce its collaboration with Daughters of India. Our impact reporting initiative helps brands leverage stories to deepen consumer loyalty. By blending beautiful imagery, curated collateral, and values of transparency, connection, and heritage, we help brands elevate both purpose and identity.
Daughters of India joined hands with Projecthrive to co-create products that engaged XX block print artisans for XX workdays. This initiative offered crucial economic opportunity and representation to artisans with limited access to education, helping them support their families.
Block printing, involves stamping fabric with wood-carved blocks one motif at a time. Artisans spend hours printing each meter, preserving traditional skill and detail. Through Projecthrive initiative, Sonica Sarna has been capacity building and training these communities and connecting them with socially minded brands such as Daughters of India since 2009.
By choosing hand block printing over machines, we’ve reduced XX kg of CO₂ emissions.
Additionally, through this collaboration by using hand block printing instead of machine printing we have saved XX kWh of electricity.
